  Waters from Currituck Beach Light to Oregon Inlet NC from 20 to 40
  nm...
  Waters from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras NC from 20 to 40 nm...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 752 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Kill Devil Hills to near The Center Of Roanoke
  Sound to near Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, moving east at
  30 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Marine Observations. These thunderstorms have produced
           measured wind gusts of 40 to 50 knots around the
           Albemarle Sound and Croatan and Roanoke Sounds.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, The Center Of Croatan Sound, Ar145,
  Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, Nags Head, Ar160, The Vicinity
  Of Mashoes, Ar140, Ar130, Oregon Inlet, The Center Of Roanoke
  Sound, Duck, and Rodanthe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
