...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 AM EDT
SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...East Carteret County, and Hatteras Island and Ocracoke
  Island.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 4 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A coastal low is forecast to bring a period
  of strong winds to the Outer Banks and Downeast Carteret County
  later today through tonight. The potential exists for higher gusts
  depending on the strength and track of the low. Any thunderstorms
  that develop could lead to higher wind gusts as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Secure outdoor objects.
