...GUSTY N`RLY WINDS THIS MORNING ACROSS THE ALLIGATOR RIVER...

A surface trough currently extends north across the OBX and into
the Alligator River this morning from a surface low located to the
south of the area. This has acted to pinch the gradient over the
Alligator River this morning. In addition to this, N`rly flow is
funneling down the River as well allowing for gusts up to 25 to 30
kts at times this morning. While not long lived, expect the
occasional gust to 25 to 30 kts into mid morning before this
surface trough moves off to the east and the winds relax.
