Hot and humid conditions will lead to afternoon heat indices up to
105 degrees for parts of interior Eastern NC through Friday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms may bring periods of
heavy rain Thursday and Friday, which could lead to localized minor
flooding.
