.DISCUSSION....
High pressure brings fair, dry weather to ENC today. Sea breeze
pushes through around 1-2 PM with a minor wind shift from southwest
to more south-southwest with winds increasing from 5-10 mph to 10-15
mph behind it. Marine influence allows for low-level inversion to
linger through the day, with elevated SW winds 15-25 knots at around
2000 ft persisting through the afternoon. This results in an
unfavorable wind profile, type I-F. Min RH`s expected to be 30-40% this
afternoon. Winds remain southwesterly through the day, shifting to
northeasterly 5-15 mph behind a back door cold front moving through after
midnight tonight. Low stratus and fog chances increase behind the back door
cold front for Friday morning.
