Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
217 PM EDT Wed Aug 13 2025

.DISCUSSION....
Fire weather concerns are expected to remain LOW over the next
few days.

A continued risk of scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms, plus very wet conditions of late for most of ENC,
should keep the fire concerns at a minimum through the end of the
week.
