Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
338 PM EST Sat Feb 22 2025

.DISCUSSION....
High pressure will dominate the area over the next couple of days,
with light winds expected for much of the area. Of note, though,
each day there will be the potential for seabreeze development,
and the southerly wind shift is worth noting for any fires along,
and just inland of, the Crystal Coast. Otherwise, fire concerns
look to remain at a minimum due to light winds.
