Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
354 AM EST Wed Feb 12 2025

.DISCUSSION....
An unsettled pattern persists across ENC over the next few days.
A warm front lifts north across the Carolinas this afternoon
and evening continuing to bring light rain to the region today.
A cold front will then sweep across the Carolinas on Thursday
bringing yet another round of precipitation. High pressure briefly
builds in from the north and west on Friday before a second and
much stronger cold front impacts the region this weekend. A
second high pressure system then builds in behind the departing
front early next week.
