Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern North Carolina
National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC
148 PM EDT Sat Jul 19 2025

.DISCUSSION....
A wavy frontal boundary will meander around the area over the
next few days, and will lead to an increased risk of showers and
thunderstorms, as well as an increased risk of wetting rainfall.
This is expected to keep the fire concerns at a minimum through
the weekend. The front will push through Monday.
