.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Cold front is currently moving south and away from our waters this
morning while a developing low pressure system forms off to the
east as well. This is bringing strong NE to N winds behind this
frontal passage. These eleavted winds will result in elevated seas
as well, keeping SCA`s in place across all waters today. High
pressure then gradually builds in behind this departing
front and deepening low on Wed and Thurs allowing for more benign
conditions to gradually return to our waters by Thurs/Fri. A more
typical warm- season pattern then takes hold this weekend.
