...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Lake
County through 830 PM PDT
...

At 801 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Silver Lake, or 40 miles southeast of La Pine, moving north at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Silver Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Medford.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
