...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Modoc
County through 645 PM PDT...

At 555 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pepperdine Campground, or 7 miles southwest of Cedarville, moving
north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pepperdine Campground, Plum Valley Campground, Highway 299 At Cedar
Pass, Cedar Pass Campground, and Cedar Pass Ski Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
