...EXTREME HEAT WARNING IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...Hot conditions with high temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees
  expected. Overnight low temperatures of 55 to 65 degrees.

* WHERE...In California, North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County
  and South Central Siskiyou County, including Mt. Shasta City,
  McCloud, Dunsmuir and Tennant. In Oregon, Siskiyou Mountains and
  Southern Oregon Cascades, including Lake of the Woods, Fish Lake
  and Howard Prairie.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Friday to 8 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat related illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, seek shade,
and check up on relatives and neighbors.

...EXTREME HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM FRIDAY TO 8 PM
PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 100 to
  110 degrees expected. Overnight low temperatures of 60 to 70
  degrees.

* WHERE...The valleys in central and western Siskiyou County. This
  includes Weed, Yreka, Montague, Etna, Fort Jones, Happy Camp and
  Somes Bar.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Friday to 8 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  extreme heat. Warm overnight temperatures will provide little
  relief from hot daytime temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young
children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach
lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

* WHERE...The valleys of Josephine and Jackson Counties. This
  includes Agness, Grants Pass, Cave Junction, Williams, Ruch, Rogue
  River, Gold Hill, White City, Shady Cove, Medford, Jacksonville,
  Talent and Ashland.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Friday to 8 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Unusually hot temperatures will increase risk for heat
  related illnesses. Warm overnight temperatures will provide little
  relief from hot daytime temperatures.
