WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and very
  steep seas 12 to 14 ft. Winds ease this evening, becoming south
  to southwest 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas remain
  steep and transition to swell dominated 10 to 12 ft at 13
  seconds through Tuesday afternoon. Winds increase again Tuesday
  evening to south gales 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt. Gales
  quickly shift to northwest late Tuesday night. Very steep and
  hazardous seas of 15 to 17 ft develop Tuesday night.

* WHERE...All areas.

* WHEN...For the current Gale Warning and Hazardous Seas Warning,
  until 4 PM PST this afternoon. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  from 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM PST Tuesday. For the next Gale
  Warning, from 4 PM Tuesday to 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Low visibility conditions are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid strong winds and very steep
seas. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or
secure the vessel for severe conditions.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...South to southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts to 30 kt,
  increasing to 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt late Tuesday
  night. Very steep and hazardous seas 9 to 12 ft through this
  afternoon, remaining steep and becoming swell dominated this
  evening. Seas steepen due to increasing wind waves, becoming
  very steep and hazardous 10 to 15 ft.

* WHERE...All areas.

* WHEN...For the current Hazardous Seas Warning, until 4 PM PST
  this afternoon. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 4 PM this
  afternoon to 4 PM PST Tuesday. For the next Hazardous Seas
  Warning, from 4 PM Tuesday to 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
