...A STRONG SHOWER OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Florence to Cape Blanco OR out 10 nm...

At 1059 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated a shower, capable of
producing heavy rain, and gusty winds to around 40 knots. Be aware
of potential waterspouts and lightning. This shower was located near
Cape Arago, moving northeast at 25 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 40 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

This shower will likely produce winds to around 40 knots, and could
pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine warning may
eventually be required should the shower intensify into a
thunderstorm, or a waterspout is observed. Boaters should consider
heading for shore before the storm arrives.
