.DISCUSSION...Thunderstorms around Grants Pass, or just to the
south, are a risk today. The probabilities of cloud to ground
lightning is about 20% within 12.5 miles of Grants Pass this
afternoon and evening. Some gusty outflow winds are possible
if storms do form with gusts up to 20 mph as a reasonable
worst case scenario. Storms could produce higher winds if they are
situated right over Grants Pass. Otherwise, Saturday will be quiet
with sunny skies to start the day. The chance of thunderstorms
is significantly lower on Saturday, although not 0.
