.DISCUSSION...A heat wave will impact the area through Tuesday with
daily afternoon breezy winds and very low humidities. Triple digit
heat will impact valley bottoms with mid 90s over the ridgelines.
HUmidity will be down to 10-15%, maybe even single digits for an
hour or two. Moderate RH recoveries (perhaps poor at ridgetops) are
expected at night. A slight cool lowering of temps Tue/Wed, but back
up around 100F Thu. More significant cooling is expected Fri into
next weekend, but temps remain above normal. Lightning chances remain
quite low (10% or less) through late week.
