.DISCUSSION...We`ll maintain a dry weather pattern over the fire for
the next few days. Since high pressure will weaken and westerly
flow aloft will take hold, we expect that pattern to take the edge off
the heat (temps trend downward) through mid week. We also expect
afternoon minimum RH values to trend upward. There will be occasionally
breezy afternoon/evening winds, but with peak gusts up around 15 mph.
Moderate RH recoveries overnight will continue, but also should trend
upward with time. Lightning/thunder risk appears to remain low at this
time through Thursday. There is a slight chance something sneaks up
into the area Friday or Saturday, but most of the activity should be to
the east.
