A shortwave will bring thunderstorm chances over elevated terrain
this afternoon and evening. Precipitable water values indicate
that thunderstorms may be wetter. Moderate winds aloft may allow
storms to stay in place or move slowly, increasing the chances of
wetting rains. Activity calms into tonight. Very slight chances of
thunderstorms are present Saturday, while an upper trough will
bring cooler temperatures and additional activity chances on
Sunday. Warm and dry conditions are in the forecast for next week.
