.DISCUSSION...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will continue
east of the Cascades through this evening, with isolated storms
possible across the Modoc Plateau and westward toward the Medicine
Lake area. A stable air mass follows for the rest of the weekend
and thunderstorm chances drop out of the forecast through Sunday.
Today will be the last day with below normal temperatures for a
long time, with a strong warming trend and the return of low
daytime humidities starting Saturday. Thunderstorms will likely
return to the forecast beginning Monday and persist through around
mid-week.
