.DISCUSSION...The main concern over the forecast period will be
daily thunderstorm chances through the end of the week, if not
longer. Scattered to widespread thunderstorm activity is
expected today through Thursday, with the greatest coverage of storms
expected on Wednesday. Overnight thunderstorms are possible across
northern areas, including west of the Cascades, Wednesday night
into Thursday morning. Cloud cover from this activity could limit
storm development on Thursday, but another day of scattered
activity is possible. Storm coverage decreases from Friday onward.
