.DISCUSSION...The primary fire weather concern through Saturday
will be isolated to scattered thunderstorms in the afternoons and
evenings. Thunderstorm activity may continue into the overnight
hours tonight into early Saturday morning, including west of the
Cascades and possibly as far west as the coast. Afternoon
temperatures will trend cooler starting today, with below normal
temperatures expected early next week. Additionally, chances are
increasing for wetting rainfall across the region early to mid-
next week.
