ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 280, 281,

.DISCUSSION...Hot and dry weather continues today, but temperatures
will slightly cool and humidities will gradually improve over the
next several days. Scattered thunderstorms are expected along and
east of the Cascades and over northern California today, and a few
cells may drift into the Rogue Valley or the western slopes of the
Cascades. There is low confidence for a nocturnal threat tonight
that would be concentrated east of the Cascades in Southern Oregon.
Another round of scattered thunderstorms is expected Monday over
the same areas, although spread father to the west. Afternoon
thunderstorm chances continue through Wednesday.
