Some storms could be strong to severe with frequent lightning, strong gusty erratic winds and hail. Thunderstorms will diminish this evening, though isolated showers and perhaps a thunderstorm may linger tonight into Monday. The upper trough axis shifts east and a dry, stable pattern is likely Monday through next weekend. Offshore flow and a thermal trough likely set up starting Thursday night bringing a return of summer-like warmth and drying to most areas.
