Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
1252 PM PDT Tue Jul 15 2025

...Breezy to gusty winds and low RH possible east of the Cascades
Thursday through the weekend...

.DISCUSSION...The hot, dry weather pattern continues through mid
week. While there is a low chance (5-10%) of thunderstorms over
the mountains, especially in NorCal each of the next few
afternoons/evenings, most areas will see nothing, except for
cumulus buildups. Marine layer will remain present along the
coast. Overnight RH recovery over the interior will be moderate
over the upper slopes and ridges and ENE winds can be expected
over the mountains tonight into Wednesday. Slight cooling toward
normal can be expected late this week, with increased winds and
low humidities is likely this weekend.
