Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
225 PM PDT Fri Oct 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...Showers along and east of the Cascades will diminish
tonight. Most other areas will be dry, but low pressure moving
into NW Oregon will bring some light rain to the coast and into
the Umpqua Basin later tonight into Saturday. Dry and milder
weather is expected the rest of this weekend into mid next week,
despite chilly mornings east of the Cascades. A period of breezy
east winds on upper slopes/ridges is expected early next week
along with moderate to poor relative humidity recoveries. A
pattern change toward breezy, cooler and wetter weather is
possible again late next week.
