.DISCUSSION...Dry weather continues today. Then, a weak front
moves in tonight, but expect light precipitation mainly along the
coast and into some areas from the Cascades west. A strong front
is expected late Sunday into Monday with widespread wetting rainfall
and snow above 4500 feet in the mountains. There is a slight chance for
thunderstorms near the coast and into the Umpqua Sunday night and
Monday. Gusty winds are expected ahead of the front, along the coast
over the mountains and in the Shasta Valley and east of the Cascades.
Another storm system is expected midweek.
