.DISCUSSION...Hot today with isolated to scattered thunderstorms,
especially this afternoon and evening. The focus for thunderstorm
activity today will be in the Cascades, but also the foothills of
eastern Douglas and Jackson Counties and over the east side in
Oregon. Isolated thunderstorms could also impact the west side
valleys and the Warner Mountains in NE California. Drier weather
is expected Thursday into this weekend. Enhanced east side
southwest to west winds are possible both afternoons and evenings
Friday and Saturday. These winds could overlap with very low
humidity resulting in critical fire weather conditions there.
