.DISCUSSION...A thermal trough at the surface and upper level
ridging are maintaining dry conditions and warm temperatures today.
The thermal trough is moving inland today, and gusty ridge top
winds will ease through the afternoon. A weak front will bring
slightly cooler temperatures and gusty southwest through
northwest winds on Wednesday with some light rain possible along
the coast and Cascades north of Diamond Lake. Dry and warm
conditions return Friday into Saturday, with a cooling trend and
widespread rain possible later this weekend into next week.
