Gusty afternoon/early evening breezes across the Illinois and Rogue valleys coupled with low relative humidity will result in critical fire weather conditions today. Meanwhile, gusty east to northeast winds across mid-slopes and ridges will bring moderate to locally poor overnight recoveries in Fire zones 618, 619, and 280 through tonight. Winds in the Rogue and Illinois Valleys will be lower Sunday and Monday but it will be hot with low afternoon humidities. Eastside areas will likely see elevated fire weather concerns middle of next week, but will monitor for critical conditions as this may come to fruition.
