Flood Warning for the Sprague River affecting Klamath County,
Oregon...

Minor flooding is forecast for areas along the Sprague River near
Beatty.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Motorists
should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through
flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT TO EARLY FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sprague River near Beatty.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Flooding of structures along the Sprague
  River in the vicinity of Sprague River,  Lone Pine, and down
  stream can be expected. Widespread agricultural flooding is likely
  in this area as well.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM PDT Monday the stage was 8.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 8.6 feet late
    Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 8.5 feet.
