...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of north central
Collier County through 800 PM EDT...
At 731 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm over Ave Maria. This storm was nearly
stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Golden Gate Estates, Ave Maria, Immokalee, Orangetree, Big Corkscrew
Island, Bunker Hill, Intersection I-75 And Everglades Blvd, and Lake
Trafford.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
