...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Broward
County through 230 PM EDT...

At 204 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud over Dania
Beach, or over Hollywood. This storm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes
         or waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and
         blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Hallandale, Dania Beach, Franklin Park,
Ravenswood Estates, Estates Of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale -
Hollywood International Airport, Port Everglades, Downtown Fort
Lauderdale, Washington Park, Chula Vista, Pembroke Park, Fort
Lauderdale Beach, Intersection I-595 And I-95, Hollywood Downtown,
Boulevard Gardens, and Roosevelt Gardens.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
