* Special Marine Warning for...
Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM
excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...
Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 930 AM EDT.
* At 902 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located 35 nm east of Hillsboro Beach, or 36 nm
east of Highland Beach, moving east at 20 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small
hail.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
