.DISCUSSION...
Light winds out of the southwest will prevail through the rest of the afternoon.
The Atlantic breeze will slowly make its way inland into the Broward metro,
but the stronger southwesterly flow will likely keep the sea breeze pinned to
the east of the burn location. However, scattered thunderstorms are expected to
develop along the Atlantic sea breeze through the early evening hours. These
storms may produce strong outflow winds, creating gusty and erratic conditions
at the burn location. Other threats include frequent lighting and locally heavy
rainfall. Storm activity will dissipate after sunset and winds become light and
variable. Dispersions will generally be poor to fair. Chances for storms on
Saturday will be slightly less.
