Shower and thunderstorm chances increase heading into the
afternoon as the light southeasterly wind flow becomes more gusty
and could interact with the lake and Gulf sea breezes. Wind gusts
and directional variability should be expected around showers and
storms. The primary hazards with any thunderstorms will be
lightning, heavy rainfall, and strong wind gusts.
