.DISCUSSION...
Strong to severe storms from this afternoon have begun to diminish and
move inland. The anvils of these storms continue to spread east into
the western Atlantic and may bring periods of light showers to the
SAR zone. In general, however, ceiling, visibility, and thunderstorm
concerns are improving. Late tonight, scattered light to moderate showers
may develop near the coast and result in periods of broken ceilings
straddling MVFR/VFR levels.
.REST OF TODAY AND OVERNIGHT...
Cloud Layers.....For the next few hours expect a scattered layer around
4-5kft, a broken layer between 7-9kft, and overcast above
15kft. Overnight, a cloud layer around 2-4kft will develop
and vary between scattered and broken.
Visibility.......Unlimited outside of showers. Light rain falling from
decaying storms may reduce visibilities to high-end MFVR
levels.
Wind.............Northeast winds around 10 knots will turn easterly this
evening and increase to around 15 knots. Gusts overnight
should remain between 18-22kts.
