.Discussion...
Scattered to locally numerous showers and thunderstorms will affect
interior and western portions of South Florida this afternoon
through early evening, with locally gusty and erratic winds in and
near the storms. High pressure building into the region Friday and
Saturday will lead to fewer afternoon showers and thunderstorms over
the interior and western areas, with eastern areas mainly dry.
However, a period of drier weather is expected to begin on Friday
and last through at least the first part of the weekend. Relative
humidity values will remain well above critical thresholds. Daytime
dispersion values this afternoon will be in the generally good
range, then increasing to good to very good on Friday, highest over
the central and southern Everglades. Easterly to southeasterly winds
will prevail through the weekend.
Widespread fog is not anticipated.
