High pressure will remain established over the Florida penisula for
the remainder of the weekend, with mainly light east to southeast
winds prevailing except across southwest Florida where the Gulf
breeze will develop during the afternoon. A few scattered showers
and storms could develop across the interior and southwest Florida
today, with heavy rain and occasional lightning possible. Relative
humidity values will remain above critical thresholds.
Widespread fog is not anticipated.
