.Discussion...
Light to moderate east southeasterly winds will continue across most
of South Florida through a good portion of upcoming week. The
exception to this will be across the Gulf coast, where winds may
become southwesterly each afternoon as the Gulf breeze pushes
inland. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop
each day with the highest chances starting out over the east coast
metro areas during the morning and midday hours before shifting
towards the interior and Southwest Florida each afternoon. Gusty and
erratic winds along with heavy downpours will be possible with the
stronger storms. Maximum dispersion values on Monday will remain
poor across most of South Florida. Minimum relative humidity values
will remain above critical levels throughout the forecast period.
Widespread fog development is not anticipated.
