...Dispersions Over 75 Interior and Lake Okeechobee Region Today...
A few showers will be possible across southeast Florida today, but
otherwise primarily dry conditions for today as well as Saturday. A
weak cold front will be moving through South Florida Friday night,
but minus a few light showers it will be a dry front overall. Behind
the front, abundantly dry air will filter into the region from the
north. This will allow for relative humidity values to fall into the
upper 20s to low 30s each day this weekend over South Florida.
However, at this time the winds are likely not to reach critical
levels. Therefore, there will not be a Fire Weather Watch issued for
South Florida as of now. We will continue to monitor trends closely
and provide updates as necessary.
Widespread fog is not anticipated.
