.Discussion...
Mainly light east to southeast winds will continue, except westerly
afternoon winds near the Southwest Florida coast with the Gulf
seabreeze. Lingering low pressure over Florida and the eastern Gulf
will lead to daily showers and thunderstorms impacting South Florida
this weekend, mainly near the Atlantic and Gulf coasts in the night
and mornings, then becoming numerous in the afternoon and evening
across interior and SW Florida.
Maximum daytime dispersion values today are expected to range from
poor to fair south of Alligator Alley to fair to generally good
elsewhere. Dispersion values on Saturday are forecast to range from
fair to generally good over the eastern half of South Florida to
generally good over SW Florida. Relative humidity values will remain
well above critical thresholds.
Widespread fog is not anticipated.
