.Discussion...
High pressure centered over the western Atlantic will maintain light
southeasterly winds today across the region, except over Southwest
Florida where winds will become south-southwesterly this afternoon
with the development of a Gulf breeze. On Sunday, light winds will
veer south-southwesterly across the region as a frontal boundary
stalls out to the north, though an afternoon Atlantic sea breeze
will turn winds southeasterly along the East Coast. Scattered to
numerous showers are expected each afternoon, with the highest
chances favoring the interior and Southwest Florida today before
shifting toward the eastern half of the peninsula on Sunday. Maximum
dispersion values each afternoon will remain poor to fair across
most of South Florida, while minimum RH values will stay well above
critical thresholds through the weekend.
Widespread fog development is not anticipated.
