.Discussion...
Breezy and gusty south to southeasterly winds will continue across
most of the region through today. These winds will gradually
diminish heading towards the middle and end of the week as they
become more easterly. Some drier air will filter into the region
heading into the middle of the week which will help to limit shower
and thunderstorm coverage during this time frame. The highest
coverage of showers and storms through the middle of the week will
still remain over the interior and Lake Okeechobee region. Maximum
dispersion values will be very good across most areas on Tuesday,
however, these values could become locally excellent west of Lake
Okeechobee. Minimum relative humidity values will remain above
critical levels throughout the forecast period.
Widespread fog development is not anticipated.
