...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL MONROE COUNTY
THROUGH 315 AM CDT...

At 300 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Aberdeen, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sipsey Fork, Becker, Quincy, Greenwood Springs, Gattman, Splunge,
Wise Gap, and Athens.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for northeastern
Mississippi.
