...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SHELBY COUNTY
THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 555 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Southeast Memphis, or 7 miles west of Germantown, moving southeast at
5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bartlett, Germantown, Olive Branch, Cordova, Memphis, Southeast
Memphis, Midtown Memphis, Capleville, Parkway Village, and White
Station.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
