...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTY
THROUGH 915 PM CDT...

At 845 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Detroit, or 10 miles northwest of Sulligent, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gattman, Sipsey Fork, Quincy, Greenwood Springs, Splunge, Wise Gap,
Athens, and Parham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
