After a 4 day generational flooding event, areal and river flooding will continue over the coming days and weeks. River Flooding will remain in effect across the Mid-South and areal flooding will continue outside of the River Flood Warnings. Significant ongoing flooding will hinder recovery efforts through at least mid-week as water slowly recedes. If you encounter a flooded area, please remember to "Turn Around, Don`t Drown." Most flood fatalities occur in vehicles that drive into flooded roadways. $$
