...Preliminary Storm Surveys Scheduled for today for the area
near Lake City in Craighead County Arkansas and for the area near
Selmer in McNairy County Tennessee...

The National Weather Service office in Memphis TN will conduct a
storm survey today for the area near Lake City in Craighead
County County, Arkansas. Additionally, a separate survey will be
conducted for the area near Selmer Tennessee in McNairy County,
Tennessee. Both surveys are in relation to the severe
thunderstorms that moved through the area Wednesday night April 2
through early this morning.

A preliminary assessment is expected to be completed later today and
transmitted via a Public Information Statement.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/memphis
