Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
227 AM CST Wed Feb 12 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Another round of rainfall is currently pushing its way up from the
Gulf Coast and will continue overspreading the area through late
afternoon. We`ll get a brief break from the rain (with very chilly
temperatures) until Saturday when a strong cold front sweeps
through with more heavy downpours. This cold front will also
bring the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms. Long range
guidance is hinting at a wet pattern again and perhaps some snow
next week.
