Shower and thunderstorm chances will persist across the area
for the remainder of the weekend as a series of shortwave troughs
move across the Lower Mississippi Valley. Shower and thunderstorm
chances will decrease into early next week. However, a gradual
increase in wetting rain chances will increase towards mid to
late next week as an upper-level trough moves back into the region.
